104mph biker can keep his licence

A BIKER caught travelling at 104mph on a Selby road has avoided losing his licence.

Garry Andrew Storm, 35, was seen by police officers speeding on a section of the A63 at South Milford on May 16.

Selby Magistrates’ Court heard that Storm, from Morley, near Leeds, was part of a group of motoryclists who set off from Squires milk bar. Storm pleaded guilty to the offence, and told the court: “I’m very sorry.”

The court was told that Storm works as an area manager for BT, and he would be in danger of losing his job if his licence was revoked. He was fined £750 and had six points put on his licence.
