Thieves steal cash from Kirkbymoorside pub

THIEVES have stolen a large sum of cash from a pub in North Yorkshire.
They forced a rear door at the White Swan in Church Street, Kirkbymoorside, early on Monday morning, then stole a cash box from the bar area before leaving via the door they had forced open.
Detective Constable Clair Gascoyne, of Malton CID, said: “I urge anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area of the White Swan around the time the incident occurred, to come forward with information.
Anyone who can help police is asked to phone DC Gascoyne or Malton CID on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
