100 jobs go at Woodhead the Bakers
9:44am Tuesday 19th June 2012 in News
MORE than 100 staff at a North Yorkshire bakery have lost their jobs.
The employees at Scarborough-based Bakery Products Ltd have been made redundant after administrators were unable to find a buyer for the company which acquired part of Woodhead the Bakers when it went into administration last year.
John Russell and Andy Wood, from The P&A Partnership, were appointed joint administrators of Bakery Products last week and hoped to sell the business as a going concern.
P&A has set up a website to help staff with information on redundancy payments and other entitlements, insolvency4employees.co.uk.

My thoughts are with the employees and their families. Flippant comments posted on here serve no constructive purpose and are a sad refllection on the authors. Shame on you !!!
