YORK City’s players will travel through the streets of York on an open-top bus this evening following the team’s historic back-to-back Wembley victories.

The Minstermen will leave Bootham Crescent at 6pm, carrying the FA Trophy and the promotion play-off trophy which they won in yesterday’s victory over Luton Town.

The expected route will take the bus from Bootham Crescent and include Blake Street, Davygate, Parliament Street and Coney Street before the team arrives at the Mansion House.

....and let's celebrate the McGills' role in all this tonight too - the lads and the manager have all been tremendous - but the McGill's have played a measured and careful game over the last few years. Respect and thanks for the excellent support.
