A PUPPY called ‘Trouble’ was rescued by York firefighters after he became trapped in the mechanism of a recliner chair.
A crew of fire-fighters were sent to rescue the cross-breed animal stuck in the chair in a house in Rosemary Court, Easingwold, at about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the owners had at first called for a vet then phoned firefighters to help free the puppy.
The puppy was unhurt in the incident.
