TWO bronze figurines have been stolen from a York art gallery.

Police urge anyone who might have been offered figurines of a man and a woman which are made of solid bronze and stand 15 to 20cm in height, to come forward.

The pair of figurines, which are valued at £1,360, were stolen between Saturday, April 7, and Thursday, April 12, while the gallery was open to the public.

Anyone who can help the police with their inquiries is asked to phone 101 or call Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
