A FREE autism friendly cinema event is being held for school children in York tomorrow.
To mark national autism awareness month, the charity Film Education has partnered with Dimensions – a UK leading provider of support to people with autism and learning disabilities, to help improve cinema access for school children that experience autism.
A free cinema event for school children will be held tomorrow with a special screening of Disney's The Muppets [U] at City Screen Cinema at 10am.
During the special screening lights will be left on low, the volume will be turned down and people can move around the cinema or make noise as they feel comfortable.
Schools can book to attend by calling 020 7292 7360 between 10am – 5pm Monday to Friday or visiting www.filmeducation.org
