YORK’S two universities will offer businesses the chance to use the skills of students as they launch their summer internship schemes.

The University of York and York St John University both offer internships generally taking place over four to 12 weeks during the summer, which can be run as part or full-time projects.

Recent projects include social media and customer engagement strategies, researching new markets, testing and correcting web-based systems and safety systems and researching money and carbon saving initiatives.
