THE mother and sister of a missing teenager are set to make an appeal for information tomorrow, exactly a week after he disappeared.
Jordan Sullivan, 19, of Acomb, was spotted by a woman walking her dog at about 9.30am last Tuesday as he ran along a dirt track off Acaster Lane towards the river. His clothes and wallet were later were found nearby.
Jordan's mother, Nicola Jobling, and his sister Georgie Jobling, 17, will make a fresh appeal at the bridge on Acaster Lane.
Police teams, underwater divers and mountain rescue search parties spent three days scouring the river banks after Mr Sullivan’s mystery disappearance. But as yet there have been no clues for any reason for the popular youngster’s disappearance.
Police said Mr Sullivan was understood to have removed his clothes on the Naburn side of the river before crossing the bridge towards Bishopthorpe.
Mr Sullivan, a travel consultant at Quartz Travel, worked last Monday but did not arrive for his shift on Tuesday.
He is described as white, about 5ft 9ins tall with a slim build and short dark hair, and he has a tattoo of a crucifix running between his shoulder blades.
Anyone who can help the investigation should phone North Yorkshire Police on 101 and select option 1.
