AN 18-YEAR-OLD man who was found unconscious at a property in Acomb has died at York Hospital.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said they were alerted by the ambulance service last Monday afternoon after concerns had been raised for the safety of the man at a property in Cornlands Road. On officers’ arrival, the man, who has not yet been identified, was unconscious and he was taken to the hospital in a critical condition.
“Sadly, he died without regaining consciousness,” he said. “There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man’s death and a report is being prepared on behalf of the coroner.”
