A WOMAN aged 33 has died suddenly at a house in the Clifton area of York, say police.
North Yorkshire Police said they were called to the house in Rowntree Avenue, near the Nestlé factory, at about 9am yesterday.
The identity of the woman is not yet known but York Coroner’s Office confirmed staff there had been made aware yesterday afternoon of the death.
One neighbour described the incident as “sad” and said they had seen the woman walking through the neighbourhood in the past months. Another neighbour said she believed the dead woman may have had a young child.
Police spent the morning at the property and said they were investigating the incident but that the circumstances surrounding the death were not beloved to be suspicious.
