An award-winning member of Selby Cine and Video Club is making a documentary film of the old and new at the Selby War Memorial Hospital site.
Alan Hatfield, a founder member of the club in 1964, is now in the final stages of filming after recording scenes of the old building, the new building and also the demolition of the old hospital.
Alan, who formerly worked at BOCM lives in Brayton, has won many of the club’s awards with a wide variety of films.
He said: “I expect the finished film to run for about 20 minutes and it will show the revelation of the new hospital.”
The film may have a public premiere at a future club open evening.
