A man who was knocked unconscious in the street remains in intensive care.
The 36-year-old is believed to have hit his head after being pushed over outside the University of Brighton in Grand Parade at 1.30pm on Thursday.
Two men believed to have assaulted the man ran off towards St Peter’s Church. A 45- year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault has been released on bail until June 6.
