LAW students from York centres have proved they are the best in the north of England at arguing a case.
A joint team from The College of Law in York and the University of York Law School beat a team from the college’s Manchester campus in the final of the Beachcroft Mooting Shield.
Twelve teams took part in the competition, which tested competitors’ advocacy skills.
The winning team was college students Katharine Fitzpatrick, and Robert Cockburn, and university students Russell Naglis and Micha Hatfield.
