Cyclist, 13, ‘stable’ after Stamford Bridge collision

A 13-year-old cyclist seriously hurt in a collision with a motorbike near Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon was last night in a “comfortable and stable” condition.
The boy, believed to be from York, was crossing the A166 with friends when he was involved in a collision with the motorcycle.
He was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary and said at the time to be in a serious condition. The motorcyclist was taken to York Hospital with minor injuries.
