MYSTERY surrounds the future of Beer Paradise, a wholesaler and importer of beers from more than 35 countries, which has ceased trading.
Zak Avery, who has worked at the business for more than ten years, has said the business, based in Tockwith, is solvent but unable to trade and is unable to comment further at present.
The business also ran the Beer Ritz shop in Leeds, which has also closed its doors, and supplies other retailers, including The Bottle in Stonegate, York.
The Press previously stated that Zak Avery was a director of Beer Paradise (York) Ltd. While Mr Avery has been employed by the company for more than a decade, he has never been a director or shareholder. We apologise for any confusion, inconvenience or embarassment caused.
