THORPE United Under-12s finally shook off the challenge of hosts Easingwold Town to register a 3-2 win in the York Mitchell Sports Football League.
David Melling gave Thorpe a deserved lead, but the home side quickly levelled.
Corey Littlefield restored Thorpe’s lead before half-time, but back came Easingwold to equalise in the second half Littlefield grabbed the winner Thorpe deserved.
