    Doesn't look very comfortable.!"

Cycle City York roadshow report

A need for speed A need for speed

A YOUNG cyclist enjoys a ride with a difference as part of a Cycle City York roadshow staged over the weekend.

The free cycling try-out event was held in St Sampson’s Square on Saturday, and families got the chance to have a go on a wide variety of bikes. The event was the latest in Cycling City York’s programme of activities aimed at encouraging people of all ages to try cycling.

It follows on from the success of the sessions that were part of the Festival Of Cycling in September. The roadshow was run by Cycle Experience, a group which works with councils and other organisations across the country to help get more people cycling.
