WANT to have a go on the UK’s largest inflatable slide?
Towering more than 40ft high, the latest attraction at York Maze is the equivalent of three double- decker buses stacked one on top of another.
Maze master Tom Pearcy said: “I couldn’t wait to get it inflated when it arrived, and I made sure I was first down it. When you are stood at the top, it’s a bit nerve- racking looking down, but fantastic fun. The feedback from visitors who have tried it has been brilliant. Mums and dads want to have a go as much as the kids.”
The giant green and yellow inflatable slide has two staircases and five lanes, so a number of riders can venture down at the same time. York Maze has also installed a second smaller inflatable slide for younger riders.
Unlimited rides on the new slides are included in the standard York Maze admission price.

"I couldn’t wait to get it inflated when it arrived, and I made sure I was first down it." I thought I'd picked up a different "sort" of newspaper when I read that!
