York police in hunt for Sam Mason, Lee Thompson and Adam Thackway

DETECTIVES are hunting three wanted men who are believed to be in the York area.

Police believe Sam Mason, 21, is currently in the Acomb area after breaching prison licence conditions.

Mason is described as 5ft 10ins tall with black hair, and is on licence from prison after serving a sentence for assault.

Lee Michael Thompson, 28, is also wanted for breaching licence conditions and failing to attend York Magistrates’ Court in March for theft offences.

He had previously served a prison sentence for shoplifting, and is described as 5ft 8ins tall with brown hair and a medium build.

Police believe Mason is currently in the York area.

Adam Thackway, 22, is believed to be in the Tang Hall area of York, after failing to attend York Magistrates’ Court in relation to driving offences.

He is described as 6ft tall with a medium build and dark brown hair.
