The annual Illuminating York festival will take a journey down the rabbit hole this year to deliver a wonderland of delight in York’s Museum Gardens.

We invite you to discover York in a new light, challenge the history and examine our heritage through the looking glass. Illuminating York will continue the journey of exploring our buildings, our city centre and our attractions by inviting artists to make us reconsider these places with new eyes.

Turning the spotlight on our digital and new media artists, the festival will provide a surreal view of the city.
