Tired legs could play a part in Selby Town's trip to Long Eaton United tomorrow.

The Robins battled through an energy-sapping 120 minutes against Garforth Town in the Northern Counties East League President's Cup semi-final for an extra-time win.

Tomorrow sees a return to NCEL premier division action at lowly Long Eaton but Selby know that complacency, coupled with fatigue, is a deadly combination - especially when viewed next to the shock defeat to Glasshougton Welfare last weekend.

Assistant coach Gary Cygan said: "If we played like we did on Tuesday, we will get three points but if we played like we did on Saturday, we won't.

"The lads are very tired. When they scored with ten seconds to play (on Tuesday) the lads were demoralised but they carried on in heavy ground and got the win."

Tom Reid is still doubtful after injuring a toe, but long-term absentee Chris Kamara should be fit for another run-out after his midweek return to offer a major boost to the side.

Bouncing back is the name of the game at second-placed Liversedge for gutted cup victims Pickering Town.

The Pikes are still reeling from missing out on their chance of FA Vase glory after losing 2-0 to Nantwich Town in the quarter-finals.

But they need to put the exit behind them if they are going to climb back up the table.

Rob Eeles will miss the match due to injury with Luke Baines coming in. He is one of a number of youngsters set to pull on a Pikes shirt in the remaining weeks of the campaign as boss Alex Mathie runs his eye over next season's prospects.

He said: "Over the next 13 games I will be seeing what the young guys can do. I already know what the rest of them are like so it'll be good to see the others.

"It's a big game and we want to drive up the table and finish third if we can so we will be looking forward to it and hopefully we can bounce back."

Harrogate Railway clash with Thackley, just one place below them in fifth, with a view to opening up some breathing space at the top.

Tadcaster Albion have three key figures back in the squad to face Rossington Main as they aim to scrub the memory of last week's disappointing NCEL division one defeat to Winterton Rangers.

Paul James, Dale Waddington and Matty Wain are all due back to inject something extra into the Albion side.

UniBond League division one scrappers Goole dug their heels in over the trapdoor with a much-needed win over Belper Town that ushers survival closer. Tomorrow brings mid-table Eastwood to the Victoria Pleasure Grounds, where another win can only help their cause.
