I HAVE been reading all the comments in the Evening Press about ice skating and the lack of it in York.

I would just like to let you know that there will be an artificial ice-skating rink at Holy Redeemer Church, Boroughbridge Road, on Saturday, February 18.

The ice skating has been organised by the 1st Acomb Boys Brigade and tickets are £3 for children and £5 for adults.

So if anyone is desperate to come ice skating they can book their tickets with me by phoning 01904 791027.
