YORK City striker Andy Bishop was today hoping to get on the scoring track with the England squad.
He was linking up with the rest of Paul Fairclough's 16-man squad to play in the Non-League European Championship opener against Belgium tomorrow.
But instead of jetting to Brussels, Barnet boss Fairclough has arranged for the squad to travel by train through the Channel Tunnel to the Belgian capital.
Ten-goal Bishop, who featured in last year's non-League squad, and the squad were staying overnight at a hotel in Ashford before boarding their train.
England's next Euro game will be in February against Italy.
