A young man is jailed after killing his best friend who knowingly climbed into the car with him although they had been drinking.
His sentence, on top of his grief, was three-and-half years (Death Smash Friend Jailed, April 10). A couple of days earlier a middle-aged American is given 120 hours community service after charging through a red light injuring a 19-year-old woman and killing her unborn baby. He had been drinking whisky and beer all evening
What has happened to justice?
