Born: Stockton-on-Tees, May 22 1981. Highly promising midfielder who turned professional at the end of last season. Has developed through the junior ranks and helped the youth side reach the fifth round of the FA Youth Cup in 1998/99. Made his senior debut in the FA Cup at Wrexham in 1998. Out for the rest of the season with an ankle injury. Signed a new 3 year contract at the end of the season.
