Burythorpe and York keep piling up the points at the top of the First Division of the Horwath Pulleyn Heselton York Vale League and their meeting in three weeks time could be a title decider.

Stamford Bridge entertained Burythorpe and occupied the crease for all but five balls of their 40 overs to reach 135.

Milner cousins Andrew and paul took 2 for 50 from 20 overs and 6 for 76 respectively.

The Villagers could not cope with the York attack, Rich Carroll taking 3 for 34 and Simon Hall 4 for 25 as they slumped to 65 for 9.

'Brough were all out for 74, Gavin Faulkner taking 3 for 30 and Jason Warne 3 for 12.

Sensing an easy win NU revised their batting line up with miserable results.

Richard Seels and Ken Jackson were soon among the wickets, the former capturing 5 for 33 and Jackson 4 for 12 from 10 overs before last man Warne was run out.
