Tony McCoy, who ended yesterday with six winners from his last six rides, spaning three days, has excellent prospects of adding to his tally at Warwick on Sunday.

The champion jockey has a full book of rides and a great chance of a lucrative afternoon, starting with Maitre Levy in the Ian Williams Racing Novices' Hurdle. The six-year-old, trained by Martin Pipe, has yet to see a racecourse but is reputed to be pretty smart.

Mark Equal, a recent winner, can provide Pipe and McCoy with another winner in the MF Harris Novices' Handi-cap Chase, while Avalanche gives the rider yet another fine chance in the No Smoking Day Handicap Hurdle.

Trained by John Best, whose horses are in excellent form, Avalanche was a winner over fences at Kempton last month. Back over hurdles here, and running off a considerably lower handicap mark, he makes plenty of appeal.

Kohinor can be another diamond for McCoy in the concluding Ken Bridgwater Memorial Mares Only National Hunt Flat race. Trained by Oliver Sherwood, the five-year-old has shown ability in both her runs to date and, provided there is nothing extra-special among the newcomers here, she ought to make a bold bid.

In the Crudwell Cup Handicap, Bob's The Business, who returned from a lengthy lay-off to win recently, is an interesting runner from the bottom end of the weights. Paul Moloney teamsup with Ian Williams' 10-year-old.

Tomorrow's other two meeting are all-weather Flat fixtures, and Jake Black takes the eye in the betdirect.co.uk Banded Stakes at Southwell.

John Quinn's charge has struck form, winning on the level at Wolverhampton before finishing a good second over hurdles at Doncaster last week. He is in a poor contest and is napped to return to winning ways.

Malton rider Kim Tinkler and Middleham trainer Don Enrico Incisa have prospects of a double with Jessie (2-20) and East Cape (3-20).

The former is overdue a win after coming second in her last three starts, while the latter bids to follow up a recent course-and-disance success. He scored a tad cosily that day and is capable of obliging again.
