I WANT to say a great big thank you to the Evening Press for running an article about a charity ball I'm helping to organise (May 24).
The promotion has been a huge success and tickets for the Wedding Dress Ball (where former brides get to wear their wedding dress again) are going really fast.
Ever since the article appeared in the newspaper, we have also had lots of hits on our website, www.weddingdressball.com, and some really nice sponsorship offers and raffle prizes from both local and national companies.
Tickets for the ball, which takes place on September 18, are priced at £40 a head, to include a five-course meal and entertainment.
