Chris Thompson hit 180, 100, 171 then narrowly missed bull for 10 darts, but went on to close in 12 darts for Sun Inn in the York Unique-Phoenix League division one match against Ebor.

Thompson was well supported by Dave Gibbons with 20 and 13 darts, Jon O'Mara (180) with 18 and 21, and then Tony Cooper with 18 darts as Sun won 81.

Best for Ebor were Tony Raymond, with 180 for 15, and Arthur Conyers, who his 170.

Shepherd SC hit 33 ton-plus scores in their whitewash of Rose & Crown. Mark Jones gamed in 19 darts by including a 180 and a bull finish, while Mick Willsden closed on 110 for 18 and 21 darts.

Heath Scaife hit eight ton-plus scores on his way to 16 and 18 darters, and Paul Botterill hit 19 and 21 darts. Ged McMahon (20) and Andy Carruthers (21) were best for Rose & Crown.

A team game maximum from Jack White followed by 16 and 21 darters was well backed by Pete Leake 918 and 21) and Dave Mason (18) to give Cygnet 'A' the match at Acomb, whose only point came via Mike Harris-Rob Henman. Andy Morton also notched a maximum for Acomb.

Blacksmith's Arms had no answer to Cygnet 'B', who had 21 darters from Ally Wray, Craig Wedge and Paul Cooper.

Hospital SC 'A' were denied a clean sweep at Pheonix by Sean Robinson - Arthur Scott. Nick Harteveld (20) and Phil Good (21) were the club side's best players.

Acorn ARL have a 12 point lead in division two after an 8-1 win at Alice Hawthorn. Mark Gale (21), Shaun Day (21) and a 118 finish by Trev Day were best for Acorn.

Lee Lambrou was Flag's last game match-winner backed by Steve Simpson, with 20 and 21 darts, and Andy Turpin, with 21.

Neil Hart (125 finish) and Paul Brandan (21) inspired Clifton to a 9-0 win against Sun Inn. Toni Smallwood checked a 109 finish in Hospital SC 'B' teams 7-2 win against Phoenix 'B'.

Nelson won 6-3 against Holgate WMC, whose Pete West was out in 19 darts.
