AS you reported O2 have now submitted a new application for a proposed telecommunications pole in Heslington Lane, Fulford.
I am pleased that, after consultation with the local community, O2 noticed the strength of feeling in the local area.
Many local residents believe previous applications were far too close to their property, and this new application is a much more appropriate location. Much of this change of heart is because of the hard work of local residents, including parish councillor Judi Legg.
Hopefully, we can now all support this new application as an alternative to the previous, unsuitable, site.
