YORK Groves ARLC are holding their annual pre-season tournament on Saturday, at Heworth's Elm Park Way ground.
For the third consecutive year, the Terriers will stage the PP Snackfoods Trophy competition, going up against current holders Crigglestone All Blacks, regular participants Wyke and newcomers Underbank Rangers.
Entrance is free with the first game kicking off at 1pm.
Any new or old players who would like a game are welcome.
Along with the main event, a tug-of-war and sprint competition will be held.
After the tournament, the presentation will be held at the Black Bull pub, Hull Road, which is Groves' new headquarters.
Unfortunately a move from the Terriers' long-standing base, the Castle Howard Ox pub in the Groves, has become necessary because of the additional costs due to City of York Council's new parking restrictions.
