Concerning the suspicious disappearance of Ms Hawes' poor puss (Postbag, August 17), I fear this is related to another sad disappearance in recent years - the lapwings that used to breed on this area of Castlemorton Common.
The suspects are the same in both cases; the arrival of the buzzards. Is this a case for Neighbourhood Watch?
