A GROUP of York food lovers who were filming for the Channel Four series Come Dine With Me were served up a big surprise.
The three guests of York council worker Claire Baron ran in horror when the host’s pet snake was brought to the table along with desserts, only for it to leave its mark on the table cloth.
Claire had so far impressed her guests with her Mexican-themed menu but unfortunately the desserts went uneaten.
Come Dine With Me sees amateur cooks try to impress their guests with the quality of their hospitality at a dinner party. Votes are then cast and the winner receives a cash prize.
