Children at a York nursery have been finding out about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle through a new campaign.
Happy Jays, at Clifton Moor, has been taking part in the Healthy Body, Happy Me campaign, in partnership with the National Day Nurseries Association. The initiative is a nationwide campaign designed to help nurseries celebrate and promote how they support healthy lifestyles for young children.
Each day of the week has a different theme with related activities. These have included sessions with a York City football coach, preparing a buffet breakfast and taking part in various physical exercises.
Thursday’s theme was Stop The Rot, designed to help promote good oral hygiene, with children taking part in a “big brush”.
