If so, you are invited to attend a reunion of pupils and staff later this year to mark the 50th anniversary of the school’s opening.

Plans are already well in hand for the event on October 30 at the school. It is being organised by the same former pupils who have held five previous reunions since 1985.

It is hoped that as many ex-pupils as possible, many who now live in the York area, will join their former schoolfriends at what may be the last reunion for pupils of this era. The school’s current head teacher, Heather Scott, has said she would like to attend.
