A64 reopens after crash near Tadcaster


THE A64 has re-opened after a car crashed into the central reservation.

The accident happened at 10.51 today on the A64 near Tadcaster.

Police said a man driving a Ford Focus had crashed into the barrier.

The driver, who was from Lancashire, was unhurt but one lane of the road was closed until 12.10pm while the vehicle was recovered.

1 hour and 20 mins to recover the car!!!! What were they doing? Body repair, re-spray and MOT whilst it was there?????
