The 67-year-old died on Saturday after colliding with a car on the mini roundabout between Rawcliffe Lane, Green Lane and Eastholme Drive in Rawcliffe.
The crash happened at about 10.25am on Saturday, and Mr Duffill, who lived off Green Lane, died in York Hospital that afternoon, after suffering a fractured skull and brain injuries.
