It was a good day for division two leaders Heworth in the York Minster Engineering Football League.
Not only did Heworth beat basement side Osbaldwick 4-1, but their two main rivals failed to collect maximum points.
Lee Bunce completed a hat-trick of hat-tricks as Heworth extended their unbeaten home run to six matches.
Second-placed Heslington could only manage to draw 1-1 at home to Rawcliffe.
Danny Walters’ ninth goal of the season cancelled out an earlier Rawcliffe goal. Heslington are now unbeaten in 11 matches.
Ben Richardson gave third-placed Terrrington Glory the lead at Aviva, but Roger Osbourne levelled for the insurance side and they took all the points with an own goal ten minutes from time.
Alex Almack and Sam Harrison (2) gave Rufforth a comfortable 3-0 win at Church Fenton.
