If, like me, you were one of the lucky fans who got to see this summer’s concerts, you will appreciate how exciting the arrival of the DVD and CD is.

The DVD relives the experience in all its glory and as soon as the music started I was transported to that hot June night in Manchester among the screaming fans, singing and dancing.

It’s not like any average concert, it’s more of a show with circus acts galore, including tight-rope walkers, acrobats, clowns and even a mechanical elephant.

Now, seeing the concert unfold from a different perspective, is fantastic, and it’s great to see parts of the show that I’d missed because I was too far away from the second stage or fixing my camera!

The second DVD contains footage from a session TT did at Abbey Road. It shows how talented they are when the lights and dancing are stripped away and it’s just the four of them in a studio. It focuses on the reformed TT: Patience and Greatest Day and album tracks such as The Garden and Julie.

The two-disc CD is the band's first official live release.

Disc one features old and new favourites, but A Million Love Songs, Could It Be Magic, Wooden Boat and the boy-band medleys have been left off, which were a highlight. Disc 2 is the Abbey Road soundtrack with the boys on assorted instruments.

A must for all TT fans and even for those who are curious about the hype.
