Richmond schoolboy injured after being hit by a bus


A SCHOOLBOY who was seriously injured after being hit by a bus in North Yorkshire is in a stable condition in hospital.

The 16-year-old suffered head injuries in the accident at around 3pm on Thursday as he waited at a bus stop outside Richmond School in Darlington Road, Richmond, where he is a pupil.

He was flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough by air ambulance while the road was closed for almost three hours while police began their investigations and diversions were put in place for motorists.

Feel sorry for the boy, but how is this relevant to York news????? Scraping the barrel for stories I think!! Glad I got out when I did.
