IT is every inch the picture-perfect York postcard.
This spectacular image was captured by Press photographer Anthony Chapel-Ross as The Shambles was turned into a film studio for the day.
Hollywood actor and Yorkshireman Sean Bean is seen here taking a break in between takes while the extras mill around in a startling glimpse of how York appeared in centuries gone-by. The street is
the latest place to be utilised by film crews shooting the multi-million pound Robinson Crusoe TV series in York, which has also brought Sam Neill to the city.
Filming will continue at selected locations next week.
