Come take a look at historic artefacts

RESIDENTS are being invited to experience first hand the variety of treasures which have been unearthed on the edge of the new development at the University of York.

Ancient agriculture, prehistoric roundhouses and the remains of a Roman masonry building are just some of the things which have been found some of which date back to more than 2,000 years ago.

The artifacts were found after a survey by the York Archaeological Trust uncovered traces of human settlements in the east of Heslington village.
