Telehandler appeal
POLICE investigating a cash machine theft said a telehandler used to steal an ATM in Selby had been stolen in the local area.
Detectives urged anyone who has seen any telehandlers "left overnight in strange places, such as laybys, fields, disused land or barns" to report them to police.
A spokesman said: "We also request you to speak with landowners if known to you and check machinery left on their land has been done so by them."
Anyone with information should phone North Yorkshire Police 101.
