YORK Central MP Rachael Maskell will be at the local RSPCA’s summer fair tomorrow.
Ms Maskell is urging people to support the adoption of abandoned animals and help provide them with happy lives: “Donating to the RSPCA or taking part in their events is enough to make a difference for the pets we all love.”
She is proud to support animal welfare causes and has long championed York’s unique Tansy beetle, as well as speaking out against fox hunting and badger culling.
The summer fair is on Sunday 19, at York Animal Home, Landing lane, YO26 4RH, from 11am-3pm.
As well as a dog show, there will be stalls, a raffle and refreshments.
