Two roads to close for resurfacing works
TWO roads near York are set to be closed temporarily to allow for resurfacing works.
City of York Council says works in Askham Lane will start next Monday and are estimated to finish by the Friday.
Works will start in The Village, Stockton on the Forest, on Tuesday August 28 and are expected to finish on Saturday September 1.
The council says that as well as temporary closures, all parking will be suspended at times but any specific access requirements may be arranged by speaking to the site traffic management operative. Any vehicles remaining during suspension times may be removed and their owners fined, it has warned.
