EMERGENCY services were called to an accident on Haxby Road this morning after a vehicle tipped on to its side.
Firefighters, police and paramedics were called to the scene just before 9am after the vehicle crashed while turning a sharp corner.
Crews from York and Huntington fire stations put the car back on its wheels and moved it to the side of the road.
A spokesman for the police said one casualty was helped by paramedics and luckily they are not believed to have been seriously injured.
