TWO colleagues from a York law firm are preparing to take part in a half marathon to raise funds for the firm's charity of the year.
Barbara Stephens and Helen Graingers from Hethertons Solicitors will be running this year's Great North Run on September 9 in aid of fetal heart charity Tiny Tickers.
The organisation is the firm’s chosen charity for 2018 and it has already raised hundreds for the cause, which was created to help children with a range of heart conditions and improving early detection rates of cardiac conditions.
Speaking ahead of the run Ms Stephens, who is Head of the private client law team at Hethertons, said: "Both Helen and I are really excited to be taking part in this year’s Great North Run and can’t wait to raise money for this fantastic cause.
"While it is not going to be an easy challenge, I am sure we will both be driven to complete this tough half-marathon by our drive to increase awareness about this organisation and what it does."
