AN OFF-DUTY paramedic's purse was stolen as she helped a sick person in a North Yorkshire supermarket.
The paramedic was in Asda in Brompton Road, Northallerton, at about 4pm on Monday, August 6, when a customer fell ill.
As she was helping the person into an ambulance, her purse containing cash, cash cards and her car keys was taken from her basket, which she had put down to help.
Police said they wanted to speak to a woman described as 70, tall, slim, with dark ponytail and wearing a white top, who was carrying a carrier bags from various stores and was seen to leave Asda and cross the car park towards Brompton Road.
