A SUPERMARKET is due to reopen after a million-pound revamp.
The Co-op on Broadway in Fulford has been extended by nearly 1,400 ft as part of the refurbishment project.
The store, which reopens on Thursday, also has a Costa Coffee machine and self-service checkouts. Store manager Deborah Britton said: “We are delighted to be undertaking such a significant investment in Fulford and we’re confident that the improvements will help us to better serve the community. It’s an exciting time for the whole team.”
Michael Calvert, Co-op area manager, said the company is investing in more community branches.
